Inviting Candidates
Invite candidates to complete NTRVSTA interviews by sending a direct email invitation or sharing a public link.
Use this page when you are ready to send an interview to candidates. You can invite a specific person by email or create a public link candidates can open on their own.
At a glance
Send the right invitation for your workflow
Use email invitations when you know who should complete the interview. Use public links when you want to share one invite in a job post, message, or sourcing workflow and let candidates enter their own details.
Invitation Modes
Email Invitation
Use an email invitation when you know exactly who should receive the interview.
- Enter the candidate's email and name
- Select the template or templates the candidate should complete
- Configure language, avatar, and interview experience settings
- Send the invitation — the candidate receives an email with a unique access link
Existing candidates are matched by email. Their current templates are pre-selected and locked to prevent duplicate assignment.
Public Link
Use a public link when you want candidates to open the invitation themselves from a shared channel or message.
- Select the templates to include
- Configure language, interview experience, and link expiration settings
- Copy the generated public link
- Share it through your team's preferred channel
Anyone with the link can open the invite page. Candidates provide their email, and may need to sign in or complete profile details, before NTRVSTA assigns the selected templates.
Invitation Configuration
Timing
For Learning-type interviews, you can set:
- Days to complete — how long the candidate has to finish the interview
- Reminder milestones — automated follow-up messages at configured intervals
Before Sending an Invitation
- Confirm the template has been reviewed and tested
- Verify the interview language is appropriate
- Enable whiteboard mode only when the interview needs it
- Send a test invitation before using a new template with real candidates
After Sending
- Use Interviews to monitor completion and review results
- Completed interviews can show scores, media playback, and transcript details
- Review candidates from the same template together for consistent comparison
