Analytics
Monitor interview performance, candidate trends, and hiring metrics in NTRVSTA.
Use Analytics to monitor participation, completion, score quality, and interview consistency across your organization. Managers and Admin users can open this page from the sidebar to review trends over time or compare results across templates.
At a glance
Use analytics to spot patterns, not judge one interview
Analytics works best when you compare groups of interviews over time. Start broad, then narrow by template when you want to understand a specific assessment or candidate pipeline.
Filters
Start by narrowing the data you want to review:
- Time range — Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 365 days, or All time
- Template — view all interviews together or focus on one specific template
When fewer than 30 candidates match the current filters, a warning banner indicates the sample size may be less representative.
Metric Cards
The top of the page shows key metrics with trend indicators. These help you understand performance, participation, and consistency at a glance:
- Average Score — average overall score across all candidates
- Median Score — middle score value across the selected interviews
- Standard Deviation — how spread out scores are across candidates
- Average Duration — average time candidates spent completing the interview
- Total Candidates — number of candidates who took interviews in the selected range
- Taken Percentage — percentage of invited candidates who started the interview
- Completion Rate — percentage of interviews completed through to the end
- Success Rate — percentage of candidates who passed the interview with a score above 60%
Each card shows an up, down, or neutral trend indicator relative to the previous period.
Charts
After reviewing the metric cards, use the charts to investigate patterns in more detail. Two chart tabs are available:
Score Distribution
Bar chart showing how candidate scores are distributed across score ranges. Use this to understand the overall performance spread and identify clusters.
Duration vs Score
Scatter plot where each point represents one candidate — interview duration on the x-axis and overall score on the y-axis. Use this to identify patterns between time spent and performance outcomes.
Best Practices
- Start with a broad time range to understand overall trends, then narrow to a specific template when you need more focused analysis
- Compare metrics across templates to identify which assessments produce the most consistent results
- Use the duration-vs-score chart to spot outliers — candidates who scored very high or very low relative to time spent
- Review completion rates by template to identify assessments that may be too long or difficult
- Monitor taken percentages to evaluate invitation-to-participation conversion
- When filtering by template, check the sample size warning before drawing conclusions
A footer bar shows the current filter state (e.g., "Showing data for all templates • Last 30 days") for context.
